On the Walker River Reservation in Mineral County, a little over thirty miles from Hawthorne, Double Spring is listed as warm with no temperature measured behind that word. Do not assume it is soakable. It sits on tribal land and public access is unknown, which together mean you need permission before you go looking for it.
The spring is roadside, the nearest track perhaps 250 feet off, in basin country at moderate elevation. The land is the reservation's. Climate here is dry with a modest amount of snow in winter and a cool yearly average. No road name, no campground and no water chemistry are on file. Nor is there a photo.
No best season is recorded for this one. Because it is tribal land with access status unknown, ask the reservation office before visiting. The temperature was never measured. Warm could mean barely warm or something hotter, so check it yourself with care. Treat the roadside label as the only thing known about getting there.
