Warm Spring
Thirty five miles from Tonopah, in Nye County, sits a second Warm Spring of the same name. The government list that includes it describes the water only as warm. No number was attached, no owner was noted, and nothing says who may visit. There is a photo on file, which is more than most of these anonymous Nevada points can claim.
Fifty yards off an unnamed road, at a touch over six thousand feet. That elevation puts it among the higher basins around Tonopah. Snowfall runs a bit more than two feet across a winter and the yearly total of moisture is small, so the ground is dry most of the time and white for a stretch in the cold months.
No season stands out in the record. It sits close enough to the road to look over from the car. Nobody wrote down who holds the land or whether you may be on it, so take nothing for granted until someone local says otherwise. No one has measured the temperature.
