Springs
Springs, plural, is the whole name: an entry two miles from Clayton in Contra Costa County with no temperature reading attached. It sits eighty-some feet from a road. No owner is on record and access has not been established, which for a spot this close to a town means you should assume it is somebody's property until you learn otherwise.
A bit over six hundred feet up, and right beside the road, which carries no name on file. Mild year-round by the averages, upper fifties, with seventeen inches of rain and zero snow.
No best season is on record and no temperature, so there is nothing to say about soaking. Nothing about a campground or a fee either. This one is a look-and-see entry. Settle the ownership question before you stop, and bring a thermometer if you want a number.
Aircraft with laser scanners measured this ground to within inches. The scan strips out trees and buildings, leaving the bare shape of the land around Springs.
Drag the handle to compare the two views. The orange dot marks the spring, in a frame about three quarters of a mile wide.

Heat flow measures the warmth working its way up through the ground from deep inside the earth. Where it runs high, rain and snowmelt that seep down through cracks in the rock come back up hot.
