Hot Springs
The Clark County record called Hot Springs sits inside the national recreation area around Lake Mead, about fourteen miles from Boulder City. The water is warm, mid-eighties, on land the National Park Service manages, access open, and it takes a mile-and-a-half walk from the nearest road to reach. Neither water chemistry nor a photo is on file.
Low desert at 860 feet. The year averages in the mid-seventies, rain barely registers, a few inches a year, and snow does not show up in the averages at all. The hike in is around 1.5 miles from an unnamed road. Nothing on file says what the spring looks like or what the walk crosses.
The record favors midwinter, December through February. Park Service land with open access, and neither a fee nor a campground shows up. That mid-eighties temperature carries no date, so treat it as approximate. Nothing that warm will burn you.
