Indian Springs in Nye County is on record as a warm spring, twenty-six miles out of Tonopah, but no temperature reading is attached to it, so nothing here should be taken as soakable. The record is thin. Owner, access status, chemistry, photograph, USGS listing: all missing. What remains is a location, a road distance and a climate summary.
Between the spring and the road the record leaves nameless is a gap of a few hundred feet, walkable, at about fifty-four hundred feet in the dry country around Tonopah. Seven inches of yearly precipitation is desert by any measure. Snowfall is light, under two feet, which for a spot at this elevation is modest.
No best months are on record, so there is nothing to go on beyond the climate figures. The approach is a short walk, but nobody has written down if the ground is public, so check before going. Treat the warm label as an unverified description. Nothing is listed for fees or camping either.
