Warm Springs
Drag the handle to compare the two views. The orange dot marks the spring, in a frame about three quarters of a mile wide.
Out toward the Utah line, in Elko County, Warm Springs lies about forty two miles from West Wendover. Warm is the only description of the water that survives in the record, and the elevation was never logged. No landowner is listed and public access is not addressed, which leaves a lot for a visitor to figure out on the ground.
The spring sits less than fifty yards from Winecup Road. That is the one concrete piece of access information available. Winters are on the light side for northern Nevada, with around two feet of snow in a normal year, and total precipitation stays low. Whatever the elevation is, the climate reads as high desert.
Seasons are unranked. With modest snow and a roadside position the cold months are not necessarily off limits, though the road itself is what you should ask about. Access and ownership are both blank, so go prepared to be turned back. Temperature has never been measured here.
Aircraft with laser scanners measured this ground to within inches. The scan strips out trees and buildings, leaving the bare shape of the land around Warm Springs.

That's about 1½ times the US average of 65. It's higher than at 37% of the springs on this site.
Heat flow measures the warmth working its way up through the ground from deep inside the earth. Where it runs high, rain and snowmelt that seep down through cracks in the rock come back up hot.
