Out in Morrow County, a little over fourteen miles from Boardman, Well Spring is a tepid spring a short walk off Immigrant Lane. The water is pleasant enough to a hand. This is low, dry ground, under a thousand feet. Landowner unknown, access unknown, as far as the record goes.
Low elevation for Oregon and about as dry as the state gets, ten inches of rain in a year and under a foot of snow. Immigrant Lane is the closest road with a name on file; the spring is roughly a hundred and seventy yards from it on foot. Willow Creek Campground, twenty-one miles off, is as close as listed camping gets. No land manager is recorded.
Winter rates highest on record. A short walk from Immigrant Lane. Ownership and access are not listed, so ask before walking in. The water is cool enough that a soak would be a chilly one. No fee recorded. Willow Creek Campground is a fair drive away.
