Hot Spring Near Kwiniuk River runs at soaking temperature, warm enough to sit in and hot enough to notice. The ground is tribal land inside the Elim Alaska Native Village Statistical Area, Northwest Arctic Borough on the record, a hundred and fifty miles from Kotzebue. The access status on file reads unknown.
Eight backcountry miles to the road listed as Elim Moses Point. No elevation is recorded. Arctic climate: the year averages under freezing and snow comes to about seven feet. Camping is not covered on file. Nothing describes the ground around the spring.
For timing, the record points at December through February. The water is warm enough to soak in without worrying about burns. Unknown access on Native land comes first; ask before you go. Nothing is on record about fees or chemistry, and there is no sample date, so where the temperature comes from is unclear.
