A warm spring on BLM ground in the North Slope Borough, roughly 78 miles from Barrow, and a very long way from anything. The name promises warmth. The record holds no temperature to back it, so take the name on faith or leave it. Access is open, the land falls under the Central Yukon Field Office, and no chemistry and no picture have been collected.
Thirty five miles of open country separate the spring from Grave Site Road, the nearest road the record can name. That puts it firmly in backcountry. The ground sits below nine hundred feet, in a place where the average temperature for the year is below freezing. Snowfall is moderate, around four and a half feet, and precipitation is light. Public land, BLM managed. No campground of any kind is listed.
Nothing on file recommends a season, and with a yearly mean in the mid twenties any trip would be a summer one by default. Access is open, which matters less than logistics here. Plan for a self supported crossing of 35 miles each way with no temperature or chemistry to go on. Fees are unrecorded. Check with the BLM Field Office before committing.
