Hot Springs On Hawk River

On the Hawk River in the Northwest Arctic Borough, the Bureau of Land Management lists a hot spring with open access and no measured temperature. Kotzebue, the nearest town on file, is about 143 miles away. Grave Site Road, the closest one, ends nearly 46 miles short.
The spring lies around 1,100 feet up in arctic Alaska where the thermometer sits in the mid twenties on average. Winter brings heavy snow. The Central Yukon Field Office of the BLM manages this ground. Nothing in the record describes what lies between the spring and Grave Site Road.
