Mescal Warm Spring
Mescal Warm Spring is reservation ground, San Carlos, in Gila County roughly fifteen miles out of Peridot. Tepid water, mid eighties, below body heat. Access is unknown. The tribal land status decides everything about a visit. No chemistry has been taken, though a photo has. Road 600 is the closest named road.
Road 600 lies a little under a mile off, so there is walking involved. Reservation land, San Carlos. Elevation is modest. The country is dry, rain in the mid teens of inches and snow in small amounts, and the annual average sits around seventy. Around seventeen miles out, Kellner Group Campground is the only camp listed.
The best months tag covers December through February. Figure on close to a mile on foot off Road 600. Ask the tribe before going; access is down as unknown and this is reservation land. Camping means Kellner Group, a good way off. No fee is noted. The water is mild, no heat concern.
