Eden Hot Springs comes up hot beside a road near Lakeview in Riverside County, about six miles from town. The water is at the upper end of soaking warm, near what a hot tub runs at. No owner is on file and neither is any word on public access, so the basic question of whether you can go there is open.
Inland valley floor, dry and warm most of the year. The spring is practically on the shoulder of the road, though the road has no name in our records. Rain amounts to fourteen inches, mostly in winter, with a trace of snow some years. Boulder Basin is the nearest campground and it is a fair drive, about eighteen miles.
Winter is when the record says to go. Roadside, so no hiking. Camping is a drive away at Boulder Basin. Check access and ownership before you go, because our data has nothing on either, and the single temperature figure is all that describes the water itself.
