Hicks Hot Springs sits two miles out of Beatty in Nye County, warm enough to soak in at about a hundred and nine degrees, which is on the hot side of pleasant. The nearest road is East Main Street, and the spring is roughly 175 yards from it. The record does not say who owns the ground or if the public is welcome. No chemistry has been recorded.
Low desert at around thirty-six hundred feet. Winters are mild, a few inches of snow at most, and the year's rainfall is a single-digit number of inches. East Main Street is the road the record gives, and Beatty is only two miles off, so this is no remote spring. The record has no photo and says nothing about the form the water takes.
