Spring
A few miles from Beatty on BLM ground managed out of the Tonopah Field Office, this spring is a USGS thermal point with a lukewarm reading. Public access is listed as open. The survey record gives it the single word Spring and nothing more, though it does carry a photograph. Lukewarm means you will feel the air temperature more than the water on most days.
Fleur de Lis Road runs within a few hundred feet of the spot, and from there you walk. The land is open public ground under the Bureau of Land Management, designated plain public land with no special status. Low desert, where yearly rain totals a handful of inches and snow shows up rarely and thin. Elevation is low for the state.
Plan around December, January or February, which the record ranks highest. Access is open and the approach is on foot for a short stretch off Fleur de Lis Road. No fee is recorded and no campground is tied to this spot. Expect a cool-season dip at best, and check the state of the source when you arrive, since the reading has no date on it and no chemistry was ever logged.
