Warm water a short way off Old Long Valley Road: that is Quigley Soda Spring, four miles from Clearlake Oaks in Lake County. About five hundred feet on foot and you are there. The water is warm, a long way short of hot. No owner or land unit is on file, and public access is unrecorded, so the practical status of this spring is an open question.
Low hills, with wet winters and a little snow. Old Long Valley Road is the nearest named road and the spring lies several hundred feet off it. The record has no land designation, no fee and no land manager, so find out who owns it before walking in. Clearlake Oaks is the closest town and it is not far.
The listed months are the cold ones, December onward into February. Little Stony, about sixteen miles away, is the campground listed. With the water in the low eighties there is nothing to fear from the temperature; the uncertainty is all about access and ownership, and that is what to settle before you go.
