Remington Hot Springs
Remington Hot Springs is an undeveloped thermal spring system in Kern County, on the Kern River where it runs through Sequoia National Forest, a few miles from Bodfish and close to Lake Isabella. It is open to visitors and the springs sit roughly five hundred feet from the road. No temperature has been recorded here, which is odd for a place called Hot Springs, so the name is all this record gives about how warm it runs.
National forest land runs along the Kern River here. It is a short walk in from the road, which the record leaves without a name. Expect something like two feet of snowpack in an ordinary winter and dry conditions the rest of the year. Sandy Flat campground is a mile and a half off, which is close.
