Carlotti Ranch Springs come up at a comfortable soaking temperature, right around body heat, on public land in Elko County about thirty miles from Carlin. The Bureau of Land Management's Tuscarora Field Office manages the ground, and access is open. The USGS tracks it.
Getting there means walking a bit under half a mile in from the road, the road going unnamed. High country, close to fifty-eight hundred feet, with heavy winter snow for Nevada, around three and a half feet, and a foot of precipitation. Open range under BLM management. Carlin is the closest town the record names.
Deep winter is what the record recommends, which means snow on the walk in. The water is warm without being hot, so no burn concern. No fee and no campground show up in the record. The reading on file comes from a survey, and the name is plural.
