Spring
An unnamed warm spring on Las Vegas Field Office land, BLM with open access, thirty-odd miles from Pahrump and five hundred feet off Veterans Memorial Highway. Tepid water, warmer than the air on a winter morning and not much more.
Short walk from the highway. Low desert, a bit over three thousand feet. Snow is light, under a foot. Nine inches of moisture a year. Summers will be hot, which is why the cold months get the nod.
Winter is best per the record. Mahogany Grove campground is the nearest on file, around seventeen miles away. Open access. No fee recorded, and no water sample.
