Twin Springs

Twin Springs is a pair of barely warm springs on Bureau of Land Management ground in White Pine County, about ten miles from McGill. Public access is listed as open, the land unit is the Fillmore Field Office, and the designation is public land. The water is in the high sixties, below what you would want for a bath. A 1983 sample found calcium and sodium along with sulfate and chloride.
A road passes within a little over a hundred feet, making this a roadside stop, though the road goes unnamed. Elevation is a bit under five thousand feet in some of the driest country in the set, about six inches of moisture a year and a foot and a half of snow. No campground is listed within range. BLM land means no gate to worry about.
Winter is the season on file, though in country this dry the road should be passable most of the year. Access is open and roadside. There is no campground on record near here. The chemistry is from 1983 and the temperature reading should be treated as old. Bring your own water, since this is arid BLM desert.
