Unnamed Thermal Spring
An unnamed thermal point on BLM ground in western Millard County, around fifty miles from Delta. The water comes up warm, at a temperature you would call pleasant on a cold day and not notice on a hot one. Access is open on the record, the land is managed by the Fillmore Field Office, and there is a photograph on file. No USGS site number is attached.
Dry basin country here, down at the low end of Utah's elevations. The closest road is a third of a mile off, and no name was ever put to it. Most years see under eight inches of precipitation fall here, and snow stays light. BLM manages the public land all around.
Plan for winter; the record lists December through February and the snow out here is rarely deep enough to matter. There is no campground nearby on file, so arrive self-sufficient. No water chemistry and no survey date are recorded, meaning the temperature could be off by a good margin. The walk from the road is short; nothing on file describes the route.
