Oatman Warm Springs
Oatman Warm Springs comes out a little under body temperature on BLM land in Mohave County, fifteen miles from Mohave Valley. That puts it at the low end of what people soak in, fine to sit in on a cool day without ever getting hot. Access is open and the spring is a couple hundred feet off a road, so there is no effort involved in reaching it.
Roadside, on open BLM ground administered from Kingman, at about two thousand feet. This is low, dry country with eight inches of annual rain and snow that barely registers. The road has no name in the record and the designation is plain public land. With a yearly average around seventy, the cool months are when the water is worth sitting in.
Go in the cooler months, December through February, when warm water is welcome. Access is open and no fee is recorded. The water is on the warm side and carries no burn risk. There is no campground in the record for this one, so plan on a day visit or your own arrangements.
