Easley Hot Springs
Ten miles or so from Ketchum on Sawtooth National Forest land in Blaine County, Easley Hot Springs measures an even 100 on file, soaking warm, which is as comfortable a temperature as any in Idaho. The access entry reads open. Easley Campground is practically next door, a couple hundred yards off. One photograph is on record.
Easley Hot Springs Road passes within about 70 feet. This is high country, with an annual average temperature near 40 and close to eleven feet of snow in the usual winter. Precipitation overall is moderate. Summer is short here.
December through February is what the best-months note gives. Eleven feet of snow at this elevation means the road is the first question. The water is soakable without cooling. Nothing on file mentions a fee. Lab work from 1988 shows strongly alkaline water. Easley Campground is the obvious place to stay, and the two are close enough to walk between.
