The USGS lists an unnamed thermal spring in Tooele County roughly twelve miles from Grantsville, and this is it. The water is tepid. Nothing in the record names an owner or says whether the public may visit, and no chemistry has been sampled. It is a point on a survey map more than a place anyone has written about.
A short walk, a couple hundred yards, separates the spring from an unnamed road. The surroundings are low valley, a shade over four thousand feet, with two feet of snow in an ordinary winter and about a foot of precipitation through the year. The record carries no land unit and no owner.
Winter is the season on file. Loop Campground is the nearest listed, a bit under eleven miles away. No sample date accompanies the temperature, so it may be decades old. Ownership and access are unknown; find out before visiting, and do not expect more than a lukewarm seep when you arrive.
