Deseret Livestock South Springs, plural, is a separate entry from the singular South Spring nearby, both on BLM land near Grantsville in Tooele County. Access is open. The water is warm, a degree or so from its neighbor, and no chemistry is on file. The record carries no photo of it.
A bit under three hundred feet from the road, an easy stop. The BLM's Salt Lake Field Office manages the land, designated public. Elevation runs a little past four thousand feet with around 27 inches of snow in a normal winter. Loop Campground sits about nine miles off. Precipitation is light, eleven inches or so.
Winter is the season on record. Roadside and open, with no fee listed. Because the warmth is marginal, keep expectations low. Ask the Field Office about current conditions if you want certainty. Grantsville is the town to resupply in. The temperature on record is a one-time survey figure with no date attached.
