The first of two Bearmouth warm springs, this one in Granite County, Montana, some 27 miles out of Philipsburg. Barely warm. The recorded temperature is below the point where most people feel any heat at all, so nobody will be soaking here. Nothing is on record about ownership or public access, and no water sample was taken. There is no USGS site number either.
Under forty feet from a road our file leaves nameless. The ground is at moderate elevation; winters run to roughly five feet of snowfall and the year brings about twenty inches of rain. Douglas Creek Cabin, nearly eighteen miles off, is the only camping listed. The land owner is blank, as is the land unit.
Winter months are the listed ones, though at this temperature the season hardly matters. Treat access as unknown. The sibling spring, Bearmouth Warm Spring 2, has its own page and a slightly different approach from a frontage road. Nobody has noted a fee.
