Bearmouth Warm Spring 2 is the second of a pair in Granite County, Montana, at the same barely-warm temperature as its neighbor and the same distance from Philipsburg. It lies a short walk off Frontage Road West. Neither owner nor access status is recorded, and no one has sampled the water. Expect water no warmer than a lukewarm bath.
About five hundred feet from Frontage Road West, on foot from there. Elevation is a touch higher than the first spring. Snowfall runs to around five feet and precipitation is moderate. Douglas Creek Cabin is seventeen miles away and is the nearest place to camp in our records. No land unit is recorded, which leaves the question of public ground open.
Listed best months are winter, which for water this cool is a formality. Nothing says whose land it is. If you go, do it to see a warm seep by a frontage road, because that is what the record describes and nothing more. No fee has been noted and no USGS site exists for it.
