Astin Spring lies on private conservation land in Cochise County, Arizona, about 16 miles from Douglas, held by the Malpai Borderlands Group. Access is marked closed. The water is tepid, mid seventies. So this is a spring that exists in the USGS record and on a conservation property, and is not somewhere you can go. It is included here for completeness.
A tenth of a mile off Geronimo Trail, a short walk if you were allowed to make it. High desert, dry, with a trace of snow and about eleven inches of rain a year. The landholder is a nonprofit and the designation is private conservation.
Do not plan a visit. the access on record says closed and the owner is a conservation NGO. The temperature would not reward the trouble in any case. For what it is worth, the file lists winter. If you have a reason to be on Malpai Borderlands land, that comes through them.
